Marpe Achieves Major Breakthrough in Vietnamese Medical Market, Targeting Southeast Asia’s Senior Care with 'K-Rehabilitation'
Large-scale supply of 7 core rehabilitation and exercise solutions to Ho Chi Minh’s 'An Ngoc Nursing Home'
System expansion expected across Phuoc An Medical Group network; Tailored local clinical training completed
[Medical Times / Bosa] Marpe, a medical rehabilitation device specialist, is accelerating its expansion into the Southeast Asian senior care market by exporting a large shipment of its flagship rehabilitation systems to 'An Ngoc Nursing Home,' a major medical and elderly care facility in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Marpe announced on August 5th that it successfully completed the setup of an advanced exercise therapy center at the local facility through this export agreement.

The supplied equipment includes seven core flagship products representing Marpe's brand:
▲ GTS (Gait Training System) ▲ FTS (Functional Training System) ▲ MTS (Manual Therapy System) ▲ PTS (Physical Training System) ▲ WSS (Wall Sling System)
Industry experts evaluate that Marpe did not merely supply hardware, but directly designed a customized, integrated exercise therapy room for seniors and rehabilitation patients, setting a new benchmark for 'K-Rehabilitation and Senior Care Systems' in Vietnam.
This achievement holds exceptional significance as it represents a tangible outcome of Marpe's ongoing global invitation and experiential marketing strategy. The President of the Phuoc An Medical Group—which operates a total of seven medical institutions and care facilities—visited South Korea last year at Marpe's invitation to inspect advanced Korean day care centers and nursing home systems.

Recognizing the clinical efficacy of Marpe’s rehabilitation equipment at the time, the group initially introduced it to one hospital as a pilot project. Based on that successful trial, Phuoc An has now implemented a large-scale deployment of all seven comprehensive systems at the newly opened and expanded An Ngoc Nursing Home this year. Phuoc An Medical Group plans to progressively introduce and standardize Marpe's systems across two additional hospitals under its umbrella in the future.
Beyond hardware supply, the transfer of software capabilities was also thoroughly executed. From July 24 to July 30, Marpe dispatched a team of specialized physical therapists and clinical trainers to conduct intensive, close-contact training for the medical staff and physical therapists at An Ngoc Nursing Home.

The training program received an enthusiastic response from local staff, covering everything from precise equipment operation to customized exercise rehabilitation protocols for elderly patients with musculoskeletal disorders and stroke conditions.

The formal adoption of such a large-scale, advanced sling-based rehabilitation system within a nursing home facility is a highly symbolic case in Vietnam. The local medical and senior care industries are watching closely, recognizing it as a pioneering model that presents a new paradigm for elderly rehabilitation.
A representative from Marpe stated, "Demonstrating Korea’s advanced elderly care and rehabilitation systems directly to local medical professionals and instilling confidence in them directly led to this large-scale supply agreement and long-term partnership."
They added, "We are confident that the Marpe rehabilitation system established at An Ngoc Nursing Home will serve as a new landmark in Vietnam’s senior care and rehabilitation market. Moving forward, we will continue to expand the influence of 'K-Rehabilitation' throughout Southeast Asia."
