Supply and Installation of GTS at Suratthani Rajabhat University, Thailand Completed

Our Gait Training System, GTS, has been successfully exported and installed at Suratthani Rajabhat University (SRU), a prestigious institution in Thailand.

Background on Suratthani Rajabhat University’s Adoption of GTS

Suratthani Rajabhat University is a leading national university that drives education and research in southern Thailand, fostering future healthcare professionals. The newly introduced GTS has been placed in the Department of Rehabilitation and will be actively utilized to establish an advanced clinical education environment for aspiring rehabilitation therapists. The adoption of our solution by an educational institution serves as a clear demonstration of our product's quality as well as its academic and clinical value being recognized once again on the global stage.

Rehabilitation Educational Benefits of Adopting Marpe GTS

The GTS system is an advanced gait rehabilitation equipment that combines sling and rail systems, providing a safe and systematic major-practical training environment within the university.

1. Enhancing educational efficiency by securing a safe practice environment: The sling system securely supports the body weight of the test subject acting as a patient model. Since the risk of falls is fundamentally eliminated, students can focus intensively on acquiring various difficulty levels of rehabilitation training techniques without any fear of safety accidents during practical training.

2. Strengthening capabilities in observing and guiding accurate gait mechanisms: The system provides an infrastructure that allows students to observe step-by-step training tailored to a patient's physical capacity and witness postural changes in real time. By directly experiencing the process of correcting postural imbalances and guiding accurate walking patterns, students can gain a vivid, practical understanding of the gait mechanics learned in theory.

3. Reducing practical fatigue for faculty and students: Unlike conventional manual gait training practices, instructing professors or students acting as therapists do not need to forcefully support the test subjects. Because the physical burden is significantly reduced, students can devote themselves entirely to building core therapist competencies, such as analyzing the subject's movements, correcting gait forms, and providing real-time feedback.

A Stepping Stone for Expanding into the Thai and Southeast Asian Markets

This installation carries significant value as an important milestone showing the expansion of Marpe's solutions into an influential educational institution in Thailand. Securing a reference through a university will serve as a powerful foundation for spreading the reliability of our GTS products to local medical institutions and rehabilitation centers in the future. Moving forward, we will continue to provide ongoing follow-up support, including Clinical Training for university faculty and students in coordination with our local partner.
