Marpe Enters Kazakhstan Rehabilitation Equipment Market
Exports GTS to Local Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, Provides Rehabilitation, Play Therapy, and Gait Training
Marpe Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Taek-yeon) recently announced that it has entered the Kazakhstan rehabilitation equipment market by exporting its Gait Training System (GTS) to Akzhol-M Rehabilitation Center, a pediatric rehabilitation center located in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Akzhol-M Rehabilitation Center cares for children with neurological disorders. Therapists provide services including speech, sensory, and motor rehabilitation, pain management, nutrition, and Kazakhstan’s common education curriculum.
Marpe’s GTS products will offer these children various rehabilitation, play therapy, and gait training programs. The company expects its products to have a positive influence and inspire other rehabilitation hospitals and centers throughout Kazakhstan.
CEO Kim Taek-yeon stated, “To expand our business in the Kazakhstan rehabilitation equipment market, we will provide systematic training to local doctors and physical therapists and actively promote the excellence of Marpe sling products.”
GTS is used for patients with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders, including elderly and pediatric patients who require upper and lower limb rehabilitation and gait training. Its features allow both one-on-one and group rehabilitation training, which has attracted considerable local interest.
A company representative added, “With increasing demand for rehabilitation devices capable of gait training, manual therapy, and exercise therapy in Kazakhstan, many hospitals and local medical professionals are paying attention. We will expand the sling rehabilitation device market in Kazakhstan through professional education and marketing activities.”
