Marpe Co., Ltd. (CEO Taekyeon Kim), a South Korea-based rehabilitation solutions provider, announced on the 30th that it has successfully supplied

its Gait Training System (GTS) to RSKD Duren Sawit Hospital in East Jakarta, Indonesia. The company also completed a comprehensive installation and clinical training program for the hospital staff.

RSKD Duren Sawit is a prominent public hospital specializing in neurological and rehabilitation care.

With the introduction of GTS, the facility is expected to build a more systematic physical therapy environment aimed at fall prevention and safe gait restoration for patients.

Indonesia has recently witnessed a rise in awareness and investment in rehabilitation medicine, especially across public and government-affiliated hospitals.

In response to this growing demand, Marpe plans to reinforce its position in the market through its GTS-centered solution offering, local user training, content localization, and strategic partnerships.

Marpe’s GTS is a sling-based gait rehabilitation system optimized for helping patients maintain balance and weight support during exercise.

It enables a wide range of movement scenarios and is particularly effective for individuals recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, or musculoskeletal disorders.

The system is gaining significant traction across Southeast Asia.

This export underscores Marpe’s success in demonstrating the clinical efficacy and practical value of the GTS within the Indonesian healthcare environment, affirming its alignment with local medical needs.

CEO Taekyeon Kim commented, “Our partnership with RSKD Duren Sawit goes beyond equipment supply.

It’s a meaningful collaboration where we’ve shared technical knowledge with rehabilitation professionals. Moving forward, Marpe will focus on expanding patient-centered rehabilitation systems across Indonesia.”

Marpe continues to strengthen its presence not only in Asia but also in regions such as the Middle East and Europe, solidifying its foundation as a global rehabilitation platform company.
