Marpe Exports GTS to Hualien Armed Forces General Hospital in Taiwan, Advancing Military Rehabilitation Capabilities
Hello, this is Marpe.
Today, we are pleased to share exciting news from Taiwan.
Our flagship gait rehabilitation solution, the Gait Training System (GTS), has been officially adopted by Hualien Armed Forces General Hospital in Taiwan.

A Key Medical Institution in Eastern Taiwan
Hualien Armed Forces General Hospital is one of the most important national defense and public medical institutions in eastern Taiwan, providing extensive medical services not only to local residents but also to military personnel.
The hospital has continuously expanded its rehabilitation facilities and strengthened its specialized programs for neurological and musculoskeletal patients.

Enhanced Gait Rehabilitation Environment with GTS
With the installation of the GTS, the hospital has established a safer and more systematic environment for gait training. The GTS will be utilized for various rehabilitation purposes, including:
- Safe gait training with minimized fall risk
- Early-stage gait recovery for neurological patients (such as stroke or traumatic brain injury)
- Structured gait pattern analysis and correction for musculoskeletal patients
- Comprehensive upper- and lower-body rehabilitation using sling-based exercise
The rehabilitation team expressed strong expectations regarding the system’s capabilities and clinical applicability, anticipating that it will significantly support future patient care.

A Meaningful Step Toward Expanding in Taiwan's Rehabilitation Market
This installation marks an important milestone in Marpe’s expansion within the Taiwanese rehabilitation medical market.
Given Taiwan’s advanced medical infrastructure and growing demand for high-quality rehabilitation technology, the GTS has strong potential to expand into various hospitals and clinics across the region.
Marpe will continue collaborating with local partners to contribute to the development of rehabilitation environments throughout Taiwan and to support the healthy gait recovery of more patients.
Thank you for your continued interest and support.
